Wireless Communication

Wireless communication is information transferred over a distance without the use of cables/wires.

This may be one-way communication systems such as television or radio broadcasting, or two-way communication systems such as machine-to-machine (M2M).

Wireless Networks A wireless network refers to any type of computer or machine-to-machine (M2M) link communicating without the need of cables/wires.

M2M Communication Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication uses technologies to allow both wireless and wired systems to connect with devices of the same ability.

M2M Applications M2M applications are found within a wide range of industries, these include automatic meter reading (AMR), vending machines, point of sales (POS) terminals, transport and logistics (fleet management), healthcare, security technology and many other applications.

What is the IoT? IoT, or the Internet of Things, refers to the growing number of devices and machines which have network connectivity, allowing them to be accessed remotely or communicate with other networked devices.

IoT Applications IoT connected devices are found in a wide spectrum of markets, offering new and improved methods of completing and managing tasks.

Embedded Systems (Modules) Embedded modules are computer systems designed to perform one or more functions to a complete device such as a modem or a GPS receiver.
